McGoff Construction were appointed to deliver Wahaca’s first two restaurants in the North West; at the Corn Exchange in Manchester and at Liverpool One.
The fit out of each restaurant are specifically designed to achieve SKA Gold standard, which has a heavy weighting on an environmental friendly build. Stylish with bespoke features, the Manchester restaurant benefits from an oversized timber spiral staircase while the Liverpool restaurant will boast a large floating timber staircase supported from the ceiling with scaffold poles.
Harry Galloway, Construction Director at McGoff Construction, comments: “It is wonderful news to have Wahaca as a client, further expanding our leisure portfolio. We have fully immersed ourselves in this modern, sophisticated brand and we’re thrilled to be bringing Mexican market eating to the North West.
“The projects in Manchester and Liverpool are the first two restaurants in the North for Wahaca. We are proud to be part of the company’s growth in the UK and look forward to taking the knowledge capital we have gained from these projects on to future Wahaca schemes.”
Wahaca currently has 17 locations in London, plus one restaurant in Bristol and one in Cardiff.
