This new build care home was delivered over 60 weeks and provides a total of 84 ensuite rooms, all oversized, expansive internal wondering space and dedicated communal rooms making Allingham House a true home for life.
New Care identified a dire need for new generation care facilities to be provided, firstly in the borough of Trafford and have focused on providing state of the art sustainable care facilities for some of the most vulnerable members of the Borough.
The focus is towards General Nursing and Dementia Care provision and our buildings are designed and built to exacting standards in order to promote unrivalled standards of Dignity and Care for all residents.
This vision is founded on the principles of Better Buildings create Better Care. This comes at a time when many existing care facilities are becoming obsolete due to their non – purpose built nature, coinciding at a time when many Local Authorities are seeking to “download” the provision of care services into the private sector, due to their inability to deliver the same in a cost effective manner.
The care home element forms part of a wider suburban care village concept which now has detailed planning permission and when complete will see the delivery of a children’s day nursery, the 84 bed Allingham House Care Centre, an elderly day centre, 8 close care apartments and a health facility (doctors/dentists surgery).
